Wow, a 2001 F150, looks in great shape Frank, even better than our 2010. How many miles on it?

Thanks Adrian! Just moving up to 109,000 this week. I sure like the design of the newer generation of F150's, but this one has sure treated us well. It has no problem towing our ParkLiner at all. I pamper it too!

That's funny Frank, that you like the newer F150 "square design" which I have, but I don't really like it, I prefer the older one like yours, have always liked curves

Only 109K miles, that's great for a 2001, especially since I saw elsewhere that you drive it 45 miles a day commuting. I already have 109K on my 2010 (just bought it in April at 106 to tow our new to us Escape) but of course that's 109,000 km. not miles.

I can imagine that the F150 pulls the Parkliner no problem since mine also with the 4.6 engine pulls the bigger Escape without really knowing it's back there, until we hit a bump!

I followed all your posts re your Escape SUV since we had originally thought of buying an Escape 17b and get an Escape Ecoboost TV, but decided to go for a bigger trailer since we are planning on being snowbirds.

Adrian

That's funny Adrian. !09,000 km is a bit under 68,000 miles. I guess the curves match our egg! It goes in the shop tomorrow for a few things before my long trip down to NC Friday with our trailer for some work at the plant it was produced in. 670 miles, or about 1,080 km one way. Leaving the F150 at the airport and flying home Sunday, then back down to pick it up a week from Friday.

Ron, have you ever changed the plugs in yours? I'm going to get that done with new coils soon. Ours still looks good too, and is midnight blue metallic. I work at keeping it looking nice. Can't afford a new one. One I like would cost close to 50 grand. that ain't gonna happen!

Frank

It's not about the "chet-chat" it's about that it's in the wrong topic to be chit-chatting in! This topic is, Show us your rigs!

Start a new, show us your TV topic, Or what you cooking? topic! Gentle reminder that this topic is a sticky, based on showing off your glass trailer.

There are many of us who have this topic pinned so we get notifications on everyones new trailers that way we can congratulate them! But endless notifications on, Hey whatca cooking gets old...... Sorry!
