Here's our rig at Long Key SP in November. I recently added a topper on the back of the pickup - so we can haul even more crap!
This was a "marine" operation, so we deployed our tandem Wilderness Systems yak. The roof racks are an old Yakima round-tube system that I've had for many years. We sometimes bring two singles instead of the tandem, but as we've gotten older the tandem is a lot more energy efficient. We usually bring our bikes on a rack on the back of the Casita
, but cycling isn't the best in the Keys. When you're camping right on the water, you don't miss your bike.
