Here we are, on the first trip of the year. We took a group of students to Pine Ridge Reservation to volunteer and then stopped at Crazy Horse.

Our new rig. I decided to use this photo as it seems everyone shows a nice clean photo. This is road grim and gives you an idea of what we were exposed too, On our way home from Chilliwack after we got it.
Background of photo is Columbia Ice Fields---Jasper National Park at 830pm.

Trailer: U-Haul 13 ft 1984

Hey folks,
Here are the promised pics of the U-Haul 13' CT I bought ealier this month on eBay from Arizona.
It turned out better than I had hoped, with a truely cherry original interior, good outside and fully functioning everything, swamp cooler, furnace, etc. The cushions show almost no signs of wear and original curtains have no stains! Even the floor carpet seems to be original, with little wear.
There was a tag behind the fire extinguisher (original, seal intact) showing it to be manufactured in late 1984 in Dallas Fort Worth. It is the ealier version, without cabinet inserts, and has the double shell, but with no insulation between. It even has the rock shield with working original pistons on front.
I particularly liked the nice high suspension ,as I camp in unimproved areas, I guess still high from lack of wear.
It still had gas in the cylinder even though the valve had not been changed out, so I camped overnight on my way home in Chino Valley Az.
So Here are some Pics:

It's our fourth camping trip in our Bigfoot but the first one where we actually had enough extended sunshine to take pictures! We camped up near Comox, still on Vancouver Island, beside the military base. I was taking some pics of our trailer and campsite when we became the surprised but happy viewers of the Canadian Military Snowbirds on the final practice day for their show - what a treat! I'm not a great photographer so I just kept snapping away hoping something would turn out. The first photo is of our Bigfoot set up in camp - she needs a little TLC but we're very pleased with her. The second pic is of the Snowbirds doing a loop overhead. Jim and Pat

Cool

Here's my first road trip pulling the '87 Burro up to the Nth Ga Mountains on the upper Toccoa River this past weekend. I had just got it setup and snaped a quick pic while my friends talked fly fishing.

Hello everyone,

We are new here. After looking for a few months for a good used Scamp and always missing out, we ordered a new one. Here are a couple of pictures, one when I picked it up from the factory and another at a rest stop in Minnesota. We are hoping to get in some good camping after I retire later this year. The little 4 cyl. Toyota truck and the 13 foot Scamp are a really great team on the road. Looking forward to participating on this forum.

Larry

This is our 'new-to-us' Bigfoot taken the day we bought it. That was about a year and a half ago but not much has changed since then - other than a few more gray hairs on the owners! Jim and Pat

P.S. Thanks so much to Donna D. and her photo upload tutorials - she made what seemed impossible to the not-so-bad afterall!
