Big and little.

IF these photos work, the first is my 13' between two semis, a common sight at Calif roadside rests. The second (hopefully visible and upright) is a truck in a rest area. The driver was excited to tell me about it: he is carrying a pretty new tractor, bought at an auction, headed for dismantling. Bought for $16,000, the engine is worth twice that. The semi ran into a guard rail which 'speared' the tractor, with the rail passing beneath the driver''s feet and exiting the back of the cab, damaging the rear wheels and tires. You can see the barrier railing; it had to be cut off in front and in the rear to load the tractor on the flatbead trailer . Scary ! David in Fresno and Sonora, CA

Even at 25' still looks small.

Both photos worked.
Whew, close call on that railing.

Wow, I count five wooden steps up to that 5th wheel Scott posted. Might be a sixth step into the doorway.

I guess being that far off the ground would have been handy in Texas or Florida floods.

The fiberglass trailer? He'd just move out of the path.

I forgot to take the picture of our 13' Armadillo sitting beside a 30' Motorhome on Tuesday. But when they pulled up next to us I did ask if they'd mind extending their awning so we could have a carport!
