ohhh me thinks you need to move up to the Great White North. Some of us saw little to none of that stuff all winter.

We drove around today to look at some of the tornado damage last night.

I forgot my camera so here's a link to our local news to see this double-wide
that was tossed on top of the neighbor's house........

Now there's a cold front right behind all this.

Had none here in Vancouver. I mowed my lawn for the third time this spring. Rhubarb is almost 3 feet tall.

Rhubarb/Strawberry Pie..............my most favorite pie.
Sam's Club used to sell them and I bought a lot of them.
Now there's none to be found. I had to start making my own.

Yup totally serious. I actually live pretty high up at the base of a ski hill - only had about an inch of snow all year in my yard. It is believe it or not, more common for us to make it through a winter with little to no snow than it is for us to get the kind of dumps you guys seem to get each winter. Not sure the City of Vancouver actually owns what you would call a snow plow - mostly just big work trucks they add a plow to the front off when needed. Thats why some of us here get a bit of giggle out of some of the comments made here in regards to how cold it is or how snowed in we must be up here in the north.

I actually had to use sunscreen while working in the yard a couple of week-ends ago while in shorts and wearing sunglasses Took this photo of the blossoms downtown 2 weeks ago now. They are all pretty well done now as are most of my azaleas and other early blooming shrubs in my yard. The clematis vines are blooming now.

LOL no problem we would prefer folks think is was taken last July - way to many folks have moved here already & as a result have driven our housing market right over the top and right off the North American market sphere and well beyond! :-(

Left Duluth Sunday and drove into a snow storm in northern WI. Continued the next few days in pouring down rain and wind thru Indianapolis and finally arrived in Townsend, TN where it has been in the 70's and sunny. Here for the Eggcursion of about 70 some fiberglass trailers. Sorry about the snow. Duluth is to get it again tomorrow and Friday.

Another winter storm warning for tonight (6 to 9 in snow) Scamp is frozen to ground and will be for probably a few more weeks, never had to use portable fish house on opener (3 weeks away), but might have to this year, unbelievable!!!

I had no idea Canada could be like that.! You are holding out on us! I thought it would be like the arctic! In fact, I always wondered why there were so many campers up there----figured you must have a 3 week season! Beautiful picture! I've been watching our trees for buds---finally this week they've started. And today they're probably thinking WTH?!?!?
