sightings - Mn
I saw 5 SCAMPS (YEP, FIVE OF THEM) headed north on highway #10 this morning just before noon. They were headed back to Backus after being displayed for 10 days at the Mn State Fair. They sure looked cool traveling together. Wishing I was in one of them headed out camping.
By now they should be back home in Backus awaiting new owners.

CRANKYAPE.COM has a 2005 - 16ft SCAMP, side kitchen, bathroom going up for action soon. It is located on highway 52 in Cannon Falls, Mn. I stopped to inquire and it will go to the biggest bidder. Not online yet, they are waiting for the title.

Saw a couple of eggs headed Westbound on I90 about 3:15 headed towards Frenchtown, Montana. Did not get a good look. First one may have been a 16' Casita. The second was either an Escape or a Bigfoot, I think.
We are in the Butte KOA tonight and there is an Escape 17 in the next row.

Over 40,000 miles...
...and no one has spotted us yet . In the five years we've had our Trail Mite we've been across the USA and back THREE times, have gone from NorCal to SoCal four times, NorCal to Oregon twice, and have made countless trips between our home in Humboldt County to other NorCal destinations (Mendocino, Tahoe, Weaverville, Redding, Mt. Lassen, Whiskeytown) and still no sightings of our lil egg.
Did '72 Trail Mites have some sort of stealth technology?

They must! Maybe they made millions of them, and the roads are filled with them, but we just can't see them

We were passing through Canada on our way from New England on Sunday, headed back home to western Michigan. That may have been us - was it pulled by a dark gray F150?

Yup, that was you! Nice trailer. I passed you in black Landrover Discovery. The only reason you'd possible remember that is if you looked at the passenger side and noted "wow, the whole side of that rover is dented in".

We sighted a lovely Casita in site 84 at the Fish Creek Ponds campground in the Adirondacks earlier this week. We were way down the road at site 137 in our 13' Trillium. No TV at site 84, but I waved like a mad-woman as we left the campground early Wednesday morning :-) We don't see many eggs in this part of the country!

Spotted a 13' Scamp or Casita (I think), being pulled by a Jeep, getting on the interstate at Exit 7 in Pensacola, Fl. Tag said it was from Missouri. It looked like a very old camper - my wife asked why it was cream colored.

Yesterday about 4:15pm on I-5 through Portland, OR.. a 21 foot Bigfoot pulled by a gray/silver SUV. I waved, did you see me? I was stopped in traffic trying to get onto I-84. Safe travels!

Other then it may have been painted it may have discolored with age. I was told to wax with Marine wax but I have been reading other ways that will work to keep your camper "tidy whitey".
