Oct 7 about 1pm spotted a 16' or 17' Casita pushing a small pickup heading west on I-70 in western Kansas. We were eastbound on 70 running the limit so a detailed inspection was out of the question.

3. Saturday, October 2, 2010, a 17' Casita being towed by a SUV, headed southbound on I-17 just north of Phoenix, AZ, about 1 p.m.

4. Saturday, October 2, 2010. A Casita 17' with a SUV, Washington plates, at Bonita Campground just outside of Sunset Crater National Monument, north of Flagstaff, AZ. Had a nice visit with the gentleman (sorry, can't remember your name).

5. Sunday, October 3, 2010. A 17' Casita being towed by a white Chevy Truck, at Wupatki Ruins National Monument, just north of Flagstaff, AZ, about mid-morning.

6. Sunday, October 3, 2010. A 13' Scamp and Jeep Cherokee at the North Rim Grand Canyon Campground (#74). Had a nice chat with these folks. By the way, I had your campsite the next day.

7. Sunday, October 3, 2010. A 17' Casita with Missouri tags, North Rim Grand Canyon Campground.

8. Sunday, October 3, 2010. A 17' Casita with Oklahoma tags, North Rim Grand Canyon Campground.

9. Sunday, October 3, 2010. A Bigfoot P/U camper, North Rim Grand Canyon Campground.

10. Sunday, October 3, 2010. Another Bigfoot P/U camper, North Rim Grand Canyon Campground.

11. Monday, October 4, 2010. A 17' Casita towed with a white S-10 p/u with Washington tags, North Rim Grand Canyon Campground.

12. Monday, October 4, 2010. The same 17' Casita with white Chevy P/U from Wupatki Ruins, at the North Rim Grand Canyon Campground.

13. Saturday, October 9, 2010. A 17' Casita towed by a full size red Dodge truck on N 89 just north of Kabab, UT, going north, early morning.

14. Saturday, October 9, 2010. An older 16' Casita being towed by a Dodge Dakota, north of Page, AZ on route 89 going north, about noonish.

15. Saturday, October 9, 2010. A 13' Burro being towed by a smaller truck (Toyota Tacoma?) on Route 89 just north of Flagstaff, headed northbound.

Were any of these you? I'm glad to see lots of fiberglass out and about! On a side note, the weather was horrible at the Grand Canyon, raining and windy, so didn't get to socialize with many while there. The weather finally staightened out Thursday morning and was great while at Zion. Anyway, I hope that these sightings were YOU!

I think Chris L. wins the booby prize for most camper sightings in one small swoop. Any one have an idea what it will be?

My husband reported on the way back to Shawano, WI a 16' north on I-94, near Tomah, pulled by something smaller than the Tundra. I am surprised he saw it.

On Friday, October 8th, we saw a Scamp 5th wheel traveling E/NE on route 29 in Virginia between Warrenton and Culpeper. It sure was a beautiful weekend for camping!

I have never seen a Scamp other than mine. In fact, i have seen only ONE other FGRV, and that was a Trillium being towed by a Hyundai sedan. Wish we had more FGRVs in Maryland.

Sometimes it's lonely out there when you're tiny and cute.

17 foot Casita, today October 13 at KOA Campground in Monroe County, Michigan. Washington license plate. (the only FG trailer I've seen since Albuquerque!) We had a chat - he's on his way home (Coupeville, WA); as am I, (Ottawa, Ontario).
