Lake Georgetown

17 ft. Casita, either SD or FD model, camped at Lake Georgetown (TX) Nov.12-13. You weren't outside when I drove by, or I'd've stopped and said howdy!

We left NW Fl on 8/26 headed west thru Ms, La, Tx, NM, Az, and on to Seattle via No Ca, then east for a total of about 7700 mi when we reached home again. Apparently we went un-noticed for all of it. Met some nice canadian Scampers (16') in Seattle, saw a 13' at the Corn Palace but few others. We were towing our 19' Scamp with a GMC Canyon, Fl plates.

Today (Monday) I-80 eastbound at exit 28, Patrick - Casita (2 awnings!) pulled by a dark grey Honda Odyssey. As the passenger in my daughter's pickup (sans Egg) I could only smile, wave and give a Hope you were having fun .... and heading for warmer temps! Today's HI was 28*. L 'n D

Yesterday (11-3-10) I was heading up to Flagstaff from the Phoenix area.

We stopped at Camp Verde, just of the I-17 freeway for a bite to eat and saw this Casita being towed by a Ford Expedition. If I remember right it had Arizona plates on it. Looks like they had been driving in some snow or wet conditions.

Anyway............. We saw you!!

So, we're heading out to the west coast of California and will head north from there. After more than 16 weeks, 20,000 km, nine provinces and 17 states (two more to go!) nobody has seen us!!!! Harley, the 17-foot wide-body Burro, is the invisible egg! Ian/Vicki, the covert Canadians

We saw a 16' Scamp going south on the Avenue of the Saints going home from picking the kids up in Fort Madison, IA at the Amtrak Station.

Its New Years Eve day and we took a little local drive east of town (east of Phoenix), towards the lakes. We ended up at "Tortilla Flat" for lunch & drove through the Tortilla Flat Campground, just to look around and saw this nice little 13' Scamp sitting there. No tow vehicle around.

Sunday, January 2, 2011. We spotted two eggs today. The first was on I-95 south just outside of Jacksonville, FL at around 1:20pm. The second one was on I-95 at the Florida Welcom Center about 1:40pm. Hope you have a safe trip. (Wish we were going too.)
