Spotted a Scamp pulled by a light blue Chrysler Town and Country at the gas station at the intersection of Hwy 1 and Hwy 9 near Cheraw, SC. Not sure if they were Northbound and topping off with cheap SC gas before heading North, or Southbound and filling up after bypassing all those expensive gas stations in NC.

A Scamp 16 and a Uhaul 13 at a campground on the coast of GA. The Scamp left shortly after we arrived, Uhaul is still here. The Uhaul is from Atlanta area, has been painted, tail lights modified, made arrangements to get together tomorrow.

Today traveling South on Hwy 59 right about Camdon,Tx saw a 17(?) Casita towed by a white pickup, didn't see what kind but did see that it had 4 X 4 in gold letters right close to the tail gate.

Are you sure it wasn't a blue Highlander? That was just about exactly the time we were there, checking it out for a trip at the end of this month.

We were coming home from a weekend at Washington Park, in Anacortes. Great to be out without the crowds!

Could have been a Highlander. I wasn't very close to the road.

This morning found that a Scamp 13 is now in the campground. That makes 2 Uhauls and a Scamp here now, counting us. And another Uhaul left 2 days ago.

We were there right at that time, heading to LaConner for lunch. I was checking out the folks on the dyke, we probably looked right at each other. That looks like a fun walk, is there any hunting allowed out there? (we'd prefer not to get down range of somebody's stand).

Unfortunately, yes, there is hunting allowed in the area. We didn't see any hunters but did hear some, and there was a boat out on the lagoon that could have been duck hunters. But during non-hunting season it would be fine.

Spotted an Escape in front of the Flying J in Kingman, AZ this morning. Don't know the exact size of the trailer but it looked larger than a 17'. On the way to ....?

That may have been Jon Vermilye who recently visited us in Apache Junction, and was headed to places along the Colorado River.

Merry Christmas from two UHauls! A few weeks ago we camped together at Sesquicentennial State Park in Columbia, SC. Rented two sites, but camped together on one, it was just plain fun. Meeting new friends through camping has been the best thing about pulling Paddy around...I feel like we know lots of you through your posts and for those of you we have actually met(you know who you are!) we look forward to our paths crossing again. Safe travels....Greg and Jane
