I think there is a gathering in AR this weekend. The eggs will be rolling south.

Seen a 13' parked at Target in Virginia Mn. I stopped and chatted with them for a bit. Told him about Fiberglass RV they are not members. They are from Blaine Minnesota and they have a place near Backus. They love their Scamp and found it on Craig's List.

Saw a Scamp today on 35E North in St. Paul, Minnesota today about 11AM heading north being pulled by a white Traverse SUV. Problem is, the camper door looked like it wasn't latched and would fly open at any minute.

This past week when I was at the East Grand Forks, Mn. DNR state park campground with my Scamp I previously mentioned that there was a California license Casita there also. Low and behold the next day another Casita showed up. This one from Connecticut. We now had three eggs from the East, West and Central. Just needed one from the South for a "quorum"! I met with both of the Casita owners. Had a nice visit. Invited them to join our group.

September 12th, a 13' Trillium at the intersection of #21 in Northville, ON, towed by a dark blue or black van. Nice looking camper, all shined up. We waved and they waved back. Probably on thier way to the Pinery for the wkd.

September 14th... saw a 13' Scamp pulling a left turn onto Randolph from the 35E northbound exit. Tried to get 'em to roll down there window so we could say "We've got a 16'!" but they looked rather confused at my gestures. Oh... almost had an accident when The Dot yelled "LOOK!!!" I thought I was going to be running a red light and slammed on the brakes... "LOOK!!! A SCAMP!!!" was the whole sentence.

Spotted 3 today on I-81 in VA, all Southbound. First was what appeared to be a Trillium pulled by a silver Sprinter van near Wytheville. Next was what may have been "Bama" pulling a Little Snoozy near Blacksburg, and a little while later a Scamp.

This morning on the MASS Pike saw a 5th wheel Scamp heading west pulled by a white truck. Near exit 2. We were heading east towing our daughters pop-up.

Yachats, OR 9/15 - Casita 13

Sunday 9/15, Yachats, OR: Casita 13, pulled by an SUV with bikes on the front. Tried to make eye contact as we tried to walk by without getting run over - he was pulling out of a driveway onto Hwy 101 southbound.

I saw a Big Foot 17 being towed by a blue Dodge 2500 P/U, with a wood kayak on the truck roof, south bound on Hwy 15 in Calif., north or Poway. Then just where the highway splits 15 to 163 south, just north of Hwy 8, Saw a Meerkat trailer from Little Guys Trailers in SAn Diego, being towed by a small car.

We had our annual Steam Thresher's Reunion at my town this weekend. We have a campground on site. There were two FG campers there again. This year was a return of a 17' Casita & a 19' Scamp that was here for the first time. Both owned by people only an hour away from me. I informed the new guy about the FGRV web site. He's on other Scamp ones so likely he'll check us out.

Forgive me, I know it's not a FGRV, but we saw the cutest tiny little late 1950's or early 1960's Shasta flying up I-65 just North of Montgomery, AL, around noon today (we were doing 65, and they passed us!). Still looked all original, no renovation. White over faded red. If that thing could talk, I'm sure it would have some great camping stories to tell....
