Woohoo, first one! 17'? Casita pulled by a white z71 chevy pickup, with a long pole and some weird antenna thing on the back. 96 and rock, in wichita.

This was at the Petit Jean State Park in Morrilton, Arkansas.
I was the only FG trailer there, but I liked the Yellow on Yellow.

And the trailer next to it I did not get a picture of.
It was one I was considering and now I can't trust my memory for it's brand. I'm thinking it was a "Thomas House" single axle. The tow vehicle had Ontario tags. I know the trailer was made either in Canada or the New York side of the line.

Like the yellow on yellow and sure do like Petit Jean State Park in Morrilton, Arkansas.
Arkansas state parks are all so very nice and their prices are good too. DD and her family use them all the time.

We went to St. Matthews, SC last Wednesday at 5 am and got there about 10 am Thursday to pick up our Lil Snoozy #161. It rained on us all the way out there. Weather forecast was to be worse on the return trip, so we headed south to Florida to see the kids and grandkids. Spent 3 nights in his business warehouse as the CG's were booked up. Boy, are they uptight about camping in the driveways..........lol. Then we headed home Sunday morning. We spent the night in a Walmart parking lot in Troy, AL. The Walmart's in Florida had [no-RV parking] signs in their parking lots. We drove until we came to Morrilton, Arkansas and spent 2 nights there. Then this morning we left pretty early to beat the tornados forecasted for today. We arrived home about 1 pm.

Long story short, I thought it interesting I had to drive all that way in a huge circle to return to Arkansas to hear any "actual" "real" country music on the radio. I had been listening to CD's I had and after passing Little Rock, the radio station was playing the same CD's I had. lol.

Post 2173.............My memory neurons just connected.
It wasn't a Thomas House travel trailer.
It was a Taylor House travel trailer.
Pulled by a car with Ontario plates.
I didn't even notice what the car was. Maybe it didn't exit.

Talking

Well now that i know some people are actually basing their view of existence on being in the sightings thread i will do my best to post all that i see out in our Costco parking lot here on the coast...and we do get LOTS of them from Memorial Day through Labor Day!

AND...if you do visit? Be sure to say hello!.. ask for Cari (my wife & usually a door greeter), or me by name ... (i'm usually in the office or at times helping as a cashier when it gets crazy!)

happy trails,
Thom

Scamp

Let's see if this upload works. I saw this little trailer at the world famous Slab City. Spent two months there but never saw anyone around the Scamp. As you can see the right wheel has been removed and cable attached so the thing won't walk away.

Took our Uhaul on it's debut camping trip last night... A whole 10 miles from home! It was the first time for us ever using a trailer for camping, and first time taking our 9 month old along. Didn't want to be too adventurous quite yet

As soon as we pulled in, my husband got excited and yells, "look, a Scamp!" It wasn't a Scamp, but it was a brand new Casita! We've never seen a small fiberglass trailer besides our own, so it was exciting for us the owners were very nice and let us take a tour. They had just sold their '95 scamp 16' and purchased this brand new from Texas three weeks ago. They were taking their sweet time getting home towed with a 6cyl Rav4

Saw a Trillium 1300 on the 400 north today around 11:30 am -1230 pm being pulled by a Toyota Sedan, couldn't get a picture as I was driving, but I remember a dark Toyota Sedan, and a cream top and pinkish red bottom with some kind of pole hangar or something on the back of the Trillium
