spotted a fifth wheel Scamp...

i believe it was a scamp, here in southwest Michigan Thursday, heading east between the little towns of Coloma and Watervliet on Red Arrow Highway.

Heading east back from Hell Creek State Park, Jordon, Montana. Met a 16' on Highway 200. Hope that was not their planned destination as our camper did not look very good on the inside after 25 miles of wash boarded gravel road.

Yesterday afternoon at 4:10 I passed a 17' Casita on US 460, a few miles West of Blacksburg, VA, headed East. Since I was headed in the opposite direction it was just a brief look.

Saw what appeared to be a 13' Casita in the campground at Henry Horton state park, in Chapel Hill TN on Saturday. The owners were not around so did not stop to check it out.

We passed a Scamp on the 104 west (towards the NS/NB border) about 45 minutes ago. Towed by a small grey pickup. We see lots of Bolers and Trilliums on the NS highways so a Scamp was fun to see!

Wow John, you drove past my Aunts place on Red Arrow, I've got relatives in both towns. Did you stop by Paw Paw Lake?

East bound on I-96 just east of US-127, Looked like a Casita towed by a red truck or SUV.

A lot of camper traffic goes through there. I-96 runs from Detroit to the Mich. west coast and down toward Chicago. But is also route to US-127 North, US-131 North, and US-31 North along Lake Michigan.

Notice a theme? Going up North in Michigan.

at the longest covered bridge in the world, NB Canada

While in New Brunswick, August 16th 2016 saw a Trillium parked by the river behind the church while we walked the bridge - then a Trillium drove over the bridge - the two Trilliums left before we could return walk the bridge - wondered if they planned to meet or if it was merely coincidental? Was great seeing the two of them drive across.

Friday, 8/19 saw a molded Fiberglass trailer at the Sanilac County Park, just north of Lexington, MI. It was at a campsite close to the road - only saw it as I drove past - might have been a Scamp, but not sure.

Weekend of 8/19 through 8/21 saw a tan U-Haul trailer at Wagoner County Park just south of Harbor Beach, MI. Young man and his family were camped in it, said the trailer belonged to his Dad. Mentioned that it was for sale, I think he said they wanted $5000.

I told him about this site to list it, he said he would pass it on to his dad. Check the listings in the next few days if you might be interested. Son said it was in great shape, I didn't examine it close, but appeared nice from the outside. It does have a roof mounted air conditioner - not sure if that would have been original.

I thought that was pretty good, two sightings in one weekend - locally!

16 foot burro

Saw a 16 foot burro yesterday -- parked in someone's yard while we were heading south on us 41 in the keweena peninsula. It was just north of Hancock. Michigan.

I camped at Glen Rouge Park in Pickering, Ont. this past weekend. There was a nice early 13' Boler there but I never managed to catch them in camp to say hello.

Smile Astoria - Warrenton Oregon area...

Greetings,
It's been a busy season out on the Oregon Coast and nearly everyday Cari and I see (and have said hello) to travelers towing fiberglass gems. IF you happen to be stopping by the Costco on 101 south of Astoria / north of Seaside and see Cari's van parked near the service station ...and are getting a fill, be sure to say hi from the forum.

Cari's van sitting pretty in the lot, with gleaming fiberglass top ; )

Happy Travels,
Thom ( & Cari )

in memory of the cute couple before the Parkliner found a new home...

Also spotted this Escape 19 (I think) in Traverse City, MI at the state park - nobody home, or I would have started a conversation! This was 8/31/16...

Just down the street from me (Clinton, WA) a Boler pulled by a blue truck is parked at a neighbor's. May walk down later to see if the folks are around.

Sightings? Do I have sightings!

First, a person-without-his glass egg sighting: Dave Fish spotted me at the local grocery store, towing my Campster.

Then at the campground (Rasar) we saw an Escape 19, three Casitas (16 or 17s) and a Scamp 16 (mostly different times.) Then another Casita that I passed around Sedro Wooley on the way home.

Then, also on the way home, northbound on Whibey, what looked at quick glance to be a Trillium.
