I think this was on 03/31/2022 curses to my failing memory! Saw a MyPod molded fiberglass teardrop with kayaks on roof mount heading south on US27 in Lake Placid FL. I'll be posting a link on a separate post so lots of us can go look at strange looking "teardrop".

Mitzie, I cannot help you on that one as I live in Canada

New WEstminster which is a suburb of Vancouver B.C. The closest I have ever gotten to Florida was in 2009 and right along the Border, & not towing a Teardrop but there is a nice Teardrop built in that area but I do not think it was his.

We have not been south in about 3 or 4 good years due to the Boder problems, we can now travel south so we might do some short trips into WA & OR and I have a old friend in Culdesac Idaho who I would like to see again but it all depends on the situation with my right Male Breast if it is cancerous or not, I will find out bt the end of this month. My friend just turned 88 & Still restoring old Studebaker cars and trucks.

Bummer but best of luck! Always loved Studebakers. A wealthy man in the small So Georgia town where I grew up drove a GT Hawk, made an impression. The Studebaker museum in South Bend is a treat!

Yes those GT Hawks were nice especially the 64 which was there last year and not many were built. Our life is to do with a Winnabago 26' sleeps two but no room for more which is what we wanted & 2019 Subaru Outback not to bad on gas so were sticking with it and forgetting Electric when I'm gone then it will be up to my wife to run the household as she will not be getting rich on her pension.

More sightings

Finally saw the inside of a Scamp! Wonderful couple from Missouri stopped at Galveston KOA & we toured each other’s abodes. Scamp was smaller but waaay deluxe. An Oliver camped 2 nites but we did not meet them. A Casita 16’ was down the beach a ways. You’d think in our month there we’d see more FBs! Driving north back to Montana now——please honk & wave.

Mitzi : Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to get photos and report back to the group immediately. Have your report on my desk by Friday. Lives depend on it , not to mention the freedom of the Scamp World ! ( BTW, I think my Scamp 13' is the smallest produced , but you have piqued the curiosity of thousands with your post. Bless you . ! ) David in Fresno and Sonora, CA. Scamp 13' and Compact Jr 13' )

Wisconsin highway 29

I just met a 13' Scamp westbound on highway 29 approaching Interstate 94 at Menomonie Wisconsin. I just put on 1850 miles in Indiana and Michigan without seeing a Scamp and only one Casita. Have a safe weekend !

David G I believe it was a ten foot, it was not new and was on display with some classic cars.

Saw a Trailswest Campster in Aberdeen. The poptop had been redone as all fiberglass. Today, about 10:30 am.

Today was the third fiberglass RV I've seen on highway 29 in 3 weekends. This one was a new one, the first I've looked at up close. They were at Eau Claire travel center just west of Chippewa Falls, WI. The owner said that he is on Fiberglass RV.
Note also that Chippewa Falls Wisconsin has a free city RV dump station on highway X (alt 53) less than a mile east of US 53.

Sightings

4 FG RVs in Quigleyville this weekend! About 700 people camped on the prairie north of Forsyth, Montana for the 30th annual Quigley Match (remember Quigley Down Under? Rifles like that).
Our Casita, of course, Larry V’s restored/remodeled PlaynPack from Kansas, a Scamp, and that squarish one with the cool pop up roof——all sheltered from the wind by huge stickies! Wish we had taken pics!

Ken it's possible one of those scamps you saw on Highway 29 might've been Olive and I. I go to Shawano periodically to have her groomed, so we were in the area around that time.
