Thursday, April 16 - Red Rocks State Park off Highway 14 in California's desert country - THREE FGTs! One Casita, two Scamps? (It was 3:14 a.m. Friday, technically, but we'd been driving since Thursday, so figure it the same day...)

Spotted another one on our way home yesterday, Monday, April 20 near Highway 395.

Was it you? (Was there a rally out in the desert and we MISSED it?!)

Yesterday (04/21) on the way home from work - as our VanPool crossed California Hiway 99 at the Twin Cities exit in Galt, CA, I spied the butt end of a rig headed east on Calif 104... then they got in the right lane and turned into the Raley's Grocery store parking lot. Well, the van pulled into the Park-N-Ride lot alongside the freeway, and i RAN to my truck and went looking....

Sure enuf, in the parking lot, I met a really nice couple who JUST two days before, bot a 30ish year old Scamp 13. They were snow-birds from Washington, headed back north. They were headed to a nearby town just outside Sacramento to (Davis) to visit a daughter. Husband had attended the University of California at Davis, and he just retired a year ago after 30 years in the Forest Service. We chatted for, oh, 10-15 minutes. I CERTAINLY gave them the MFROG site and also the Scamppers Yahoo! Group.

Hope they join!!

I saw a Scamp in a driveway today too! In Linden, AZ, near the entrance to Fools Hollow Lake.

Also, in Pinetop/Lakeside AZ, near Rainbow lake, this forlorn thing.. sitting all by itself on the street.
Hey, that forlorn "thing" is a Fiber Stream marking time and looking cool...

Saturday April 25th. 2 sightings! Whoo Hooooooooo!

1. North bound I-25 noonish 17ft Casita being pulled by a Maroon truck with shell or Suv just before the Loveland/Greeley exit, just caught a glimpse as I was heading south bound. I actually think I saw this same rig last summer in fort collins.

2. From my veiwing point, North Bound I-25 at 75 miles an hour........................ I saw what looked like a 13 or 14 footer camped way at the north/west end of the St Vrain State Park campgrounds. It looked soooooooo cute back there, had I not been in a hurry to get to a meeting, I would have loved to pull in and see what brand it was. Hope you enjoyed your stay there. Robin

Sunday 4/26, on I-5 south a 13 ft Scamp being pulled by a white?

Tues 4-28, on I-5 north, a 16 ft Scamp and a Scamp 5th being pulled by a red truck?

It's funny how I zero in on the trailer but not the tows.

Monday 4/27, in Texas, on State Highway 31 between Tyler and Brownsboro, a Casita 17 heading east. The fun part was that I was heading west on my way to Rice to pick up my new Casita 13.

Friday 5/1 a Scamp 19 was making its way slowly thru the floodwaters of US69 at Chouteau OK. I don't get to see that many of the 5th wheel FG units, so it was a surprise.

We had 8" of rain in 1 day in the Pryor/Chouteau area. Many homes and businesses and cars got flooded.

We saw an older Bigfoot with Canada plates stopped at Jacks Branch on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Tennessee Saturday afternoon, 5-2-09. The owner was taking a break down by the creek & we spotted a long-haired kitty hiding under the Bigfoot.

I believe it was 5/4 or around there. I think it was a white Scamp -about 16-17'. I didn't see what towing vehicle was. Heading N on Hwy 1 in the Lower keys. I was sitting in the back seat of our vehicle so I only caught a quick glimpse of your egg as you passed us on the road. I'm not sure where we were at that time but I think it was between 7 mile bridge and Bahia State Park.

Saturday, last week, in Ojai California, a Compact II, Blue bottom, white top, packed to the hilt.

We invited them to Lake Casitas to see the other glass, but they were on thier way to elswhere.
I have been working outside for a week or two now and I can see Hwy 89 about a half mile away.
By accidentally looking in that direction occasionally I saw three eggs just today. All heading east. Can't tell what kinda egg or what kinda TV.

EDIT... I live five miles east of Kanab, UT
