Spotted January 22, 2010, this late afternoon near Wildhorse Pass and I-10 in Chandler, AZ....a very large Bigfoot. It was a tandem axle being towed by a suburban/tahoe, had MN plates and had "Surly" on the spare tire cover. Was it you???? I hope that you were enjoying our AZ liquid sunshine and cold wind today! Happy trails.

Was walking down Alder Street in Portland last night with a couple friends, and began to "squeeee!" at the sight of a small, older Trillium trailer parked off one of the side streets. I've never seen one in person. They're cute! (being closing time, I wasn't going to go knocking on any doors asking for an interior tour!)

We just spotted a 19' Escape / white pickup with Texas plates parked in front of a seafood market in Charleston, Oregon. We stopped to investigate and met the owners; they picked up their brand-spankin'-new Escape from Reese just 3 days ago! They love it!

Hope you enjoy your trip home!

Newer Casita 17' hooked to a white SUV. The Casita had a US Flag spare tire cover.

oddest sighting I have ever had today...

On highway 95 in AZ just south of Parker, a white tug towing a 13 ft Boler, white on the top, green on the bottom.

I made a note, it was 4 ish pm, and then not a minute later, and identical set up going the same way.

Probably together, but there were several cars in between the two.

We were on the road for two full weeks and today was the first time we saw any fiberglass trailers on the road. Two southbound on I-5 near Redding. One with a white TV, looked like a 17 ft. Casita and one with a green TV that was another 17 foot Casita. Then between Grants Pass and Roseburg on I-5 southbound another white TV with trailer. We waved but there was construction and trucks and we were northbound.

Hey, I saw a 17 ft. Casita, on FM 1431, heading toward Jonestown TX on Sunday morning. Don't remember the tow vehicle; I only had eyes for the Casita.

Strangest thing I've ever seen. Last weekend I saw about 60 "eggs" all in one place, in kind of a circle in the AZ desert near Quartzsite.

Man, that's one big nest. I hope the hen doesn't show up!

Ok, who dat?

On my day off last Sunday, a 17 foot Bigfoot stopped by the dealer I work at to look at one of our units there.

One of our kind salesmen that knows I am looking for a BF 17 tried to buy it off you, but you were not interested.

sigh

Gina, That was the Deja Vu brothers, Pete and Repete. They always travel together.

i'm just starting out but i already saw (last week) a cool 13' Burro heading down to Big Sur, CA (from the Carmel Highlands area). TV was a Toyota truck - a simple 4-cyl.

this is the exact set-up i want! dude - call me!

a few days later i was in Sausalito. by the docks there was a small makeshift fenced in storage area full of those flashy silvery things ... there were two really nice Bambi's but thats not on my radar. i kept driving and then viola - a nice 13' Scamp (or Casita) tucked in among the others. it was very clean, white paint and no details or stickers.

i was really impressed with the size of the Burro. that bad-boy is BIG! i had only seen them up to then on the web, so it was quite a nice surprise to see the real deal.

Yesterday I saw a 16 foot Scamp heading east on Hwy 80 in Longview Texas. Pulled by a white Toyota pickup with a camper shell.

Saw a 17' Casita headed West on 104 approaching the Hood Canal floating bridge today about 1PM. I did not get a look at the tow vehicle. I thought there was an extra appendage on the roof ahead of the air conditioner, maybe a Maw Air vent cover.

Was a beautiful day (mostly). Hope you are having a great trip.
