Yep! Did it look lonely? We are in Iowa for the Holiday. Our youngest's girlfriend from New Mexico has never so much snow!

We saw a 16' Scamp going south on the Avenue of the Saints going home from picking the kids up in Fort Madison, IA at the Amtrak Station.

Its New Years Eve day and we took a little local drive east of town (east of Phoenix), towards the lakes. We ended up at "Tortilla Flat" for lunch & drove through the Tortilla Flat Campground, just to look around and saw this nice little 13' Scamp sitting there. No tow vehicle around.

Sunday, January 2, 2011. We spotted two eggs today. The first was on I-95 south just outside of Jacksonville, FL at around 1:20pm. The second one was on I-95 at the Florida Welcom Center about 1:40pm. Hope you have a safe trip. (Wish we were going too.)

Yesterday at Rainbow Springs State Park FL. Three different Casitas traveling separately. Got to meet two of the owners but never did get to meet the one with the kayak.

Also today, saw what appeared to be a 13' Scamp southbound on I-75 in GA about 85 miles North of the FL border. That was about 5:30 PM. Didn't get to see the tow vehicle because it was a section of highway separated by concrete wall sections. We were towing our Scamp back home from FL.

Cool! We live about 20 miles south of "nap town", but I work in Severna Park, so I drive through Annapolis at least twice a day. My wife works in Annapolis. Occasionally, I'll pick her up at worm with the Scamp in tow when we go camping. If you see a little red car towing a Scamp, that's me!

Scamp and Casita

Here in Rio Grande Village in Big Bend National Park we talked to a couple from Bend, OR towing a 13' Casita and couple from NY towing a 13' Scamp. Neither had heard of this web site.

I finally spotted an Egg here in Melbourne, Florida!! Just now (4:30) parked at the Barnes and Noble off 192. It was a 13 ft Scamp being towed by a grey (silver?) Toyota RAV 4. It had an awning and sure looked shiny! Are you by any chance headed down for Scamp Camp???

John;
There's a good chance that it was us. We were there and then with
Eggy-Sue, heading toward the Sebring ScampCamp! Barely escaped the blizzard by leaving northern Illinois a couple of days early.

I was wondering if you were going to make it out of there in time. Glad to see you didn't have to fight the ice. We'll be in Sebring Monday, stopping at Stephen Foster state park over the weekend. Hope to spot a few eggs this weekend, should be several on the way to Sebring!

John
