Movie-Cabin in the woods....

About 5 to 10 minutes into the movie there was a scene where the unsuspecting, good looking teenagers stop at a gas station and the creepy gas station attendent had a fiberglass camper of some kind sitting in the trees. It was a quick blur but it was there. That was the most exciting part of the movie I might add. Or maybe it was when each of the teen -agers were killed off one at a time in order of how naughty they were. Hmmmmm have we seen that one before?

April 30th, Millersburg, Oh. I spotted a very nice 13' U Haul hooked to its tow truck, parked near Comfort Inn. Stopped to admire it and met owner, Mike, who gave me the grand tour. We compared notes, names, etc, as we are nearly neighboors. Very nice rig. Mike told me I can get some parts from U haul and WOW I got in touch with them and can still get somethings. Delightful meeting, another helpful fellow fiberglass rv'er. Jan

I saw this Escape trailer 05-05-12 at Lakeside RV Park in Provo, Utah near Utah Lake.

I was too shy to knock on the door and talk to the owner and Mike said it would be super weird to do that. He also said it was super weird to take a picture of their trailer, so I guess I'm just super weird...

Smile Quebec Bolar in Virginia Jefferson National Forest

Met a sweet couple from Quebec traveling to the Smokies in their 84 BOLAR! They had mad a few Mods... the floor is covered with children's foam play mats. They also converted their potty area under the front bunk into a very efficient cooler! They travel minimalistic and fold up their bedding during the day then use their kitchen and dinnete area. Happy campers. I was so excited to see in person my first BOLAR and wish them well on the road.

LOL & I bet it looked good!! Not surprised it was an Escape you saw. During my travels last year through 8 states I saw more Escape's than any other brand of fiberglass trailers on the road.

Saw this Scamp at Mt. Rushmore yesterday. We tried to guess who it was at the visitor's center. We were not right. We saw the owners leave as we were eating lunch.

13' Scamp pulled by a red quad cab dodge dakota heading on I 35N north of Owatonna, MN this afternoon.

Then another Scamp heading West on Hwy 218 near Mason City, IA pulled by a white SUV (Trailblazer was my guess) early this eve.

I nearly missed the latter, he was trumped by a trailer pulling the statue of a large cow!

Yesterday, an apparently new Scamp, all shiny, with a temp sticker in the back window, pulled by red tug with Minnesota plates, southbound on 61 near Troy, Missouri. Congrats on your new Scamp!

Casita with Or plates being towed north by a tug with Alaskan plates. Did someone buy a Casita? I saw it just past the Wash-Or bridge about 4:30 PM today.
