Another sighting Wednesday on I-20 headed Eastbound near Canton, TX, but I don't know what it was. I suspected Trillium at first since it was squarer than a Scamp or Casita, but it looked like it had a forward leaning front section. If it was you, what was it?

Saw a 17' Bigfoot at the Odlin County Park on Lopez Island (WA) on Saturday. A good looking rig. No one around so I didn't have a chance to learn where they came from.

Saw a Casita northbound on I-25 south of Raton, NM on May 14th. A short time later saw a Scamp also northbound on I-25. We were pulling our Bigfoot down to Santa Fe at the time. On the 15th we saw a Casita parked at the KOA in La Junta, Colorado. Anybody we know?

I worked with a woman who had one of those Apaches. She said it leaked where the sides and the ends met. I guess if you could eliminate the leaks.......

Saw this on a dealers lot, in St Thomas, and made enquiries. Turns out it belongs to a customer and is going through a reno. [new floor, new cabinets, window work etc.] It will be nice when it's finished. Hmmm! Wonder if it's a member here ?

An Eriba Touring in the parking lot of McDonalds in Decorah, IA. pulled by mini van from Muscatine County, IA (my stomping ground) with Songbird Dulcimers written on the side. Googled the name and found that they have a Dulcimer business in Muscatine. According to their events calender they were in Red Wing, MN this weekend.

We not only saw the 2007 Casita in the same campground we are in, Viking Village in Stoughton, WI, where we are camping, but we met them and enjoyed conversation and drinks with them. Told them about this site and toured their camper. They are dropping by our Uhaul sometime too. Hope they join, as they have modified their trailer in a way that others here might be interested in.

May 22, stayed in a campsite in Hope, BC., and there were 2 Bolers, 1 Bigfoot camper, and my Trillium. I would say that fiberglass was well represented here.

On Memorial day, I saw a Boler or Scamp (I think... Didn't have a good look) pulled by a red Sprinter van... Heading towards Frederick, MD.

We were in Aspen, Colorado on Memorial Day and heading up over Independence Pass. The pass had just been opened for the season a few days before. There was still an unbelievable amount of snow between 9000 and 12000 feet elevation, but the road was in good shape. It was snowing lightly all the way up, but not sticking to the pavement much. We saw someone pulling a 13' Scamp coming down toward Aspen. We don't know if they came all the way over the pass or not. Very few people would be willing to pull any kind of trailer on that highway. (Any vehicle or vehicle/trailer combo over 35' is prohibited.) We don't even think of pulling our Bigfoot over this pass.

Later in the day, we saw a Casita on Highway 24 just east of Buena Vista.

Saw a fairly new 13' Scamp at Odlin Park on Lopez Island, WA today. Nice couple from Bellingham pulling with a pick-up with kayaks and traveling with another couple in a camping van.

They were quite familiar with camping in the San Juan Islands. We talked about the desirability of staying under 7'6" in height and 30' in length overall. That cuts the cost of ferry travel way, way down.

On Memorial Day Weekend I saw a dark grey Boler in Silverado, CA. camping near the Temple of Consciousness at Ligtning in a Bottle. Earlier in the weekend I saw a Scamp parked near there as well, but when I got around to going over to say "Hi" on Monday afternoon no one was around the Boler and the Scamp had already left.

My first Travel Trailer was a Hard sided Apache Roamer. I liked it for the most part, but my Bigfoot 17.5 has some huge advantages: It's not a hassle to put up in a rainstorm, you can pull over at a rest stop and have lunch in the trailer (you can't really put up the Apache quickly, so it's not really worth it for an hour or so), you can leave the beds set up while travelling (on the Apache you have to take all of the bedding off the beds and break down the whole trailer before you move to another spot or travel anywhere), and the Bigfoot is airtight and watertight-on th Apache when it was really windy and dusty the dust blew in through many cracks that were invisible to the eye and got on everything (It leaked a little in hard rainstorms too). On the plus side-with the beds pushed out there was a lot more sleeping room in the Apache (It could easily sleep 7), it was super easy to tow -since it was below the level of the back of the truck you could even watch traffic out of the back window and didn't have to rely solely on the mirrors, and it barely affected gas mileage. It was also a lot cheaper than a Fiberglass RV to buy.

Saw a Casita (? TV) at about 1pm today traveling west on I 90 by Dakota, MN. Then while passing through Houston, MN on US 16 at 1:20pm we saw a 16 ft Scamp hooked to a black Jeep Grand Cherokee parked outside the Sawmill Inn (no owners in sight). It was a good day for spotting some eggs!
