Saw a Casita camped in loop A at Ft Pickens FL, but never caught the owners at home to say Hi. We were in loop C with our Scamp.

Camped at the Lamoure County park in ND attending a metal detector hunt put on by a club. Someone with a Scamp 5th wheel was camping with another group. Got to meet the owner who was from Jamestown, ND. Told him about this website.

Traveling from Custer, SD to Worthington, MN. Heading east on I-90, we saw the following:

Mile marker 120 - Scamp 13' at 10:30 AM Mtn daylight time. Sorry, we did not see the tug; we were too busy trying to see what the camper was.

Mile marker 206 - Scamp 16' at 2:30 PM Central time.

Mile marker 295 - Scamp 13' at 4:10 PM Central time.

Finally, we saw an Eggcamper at Mile Marker 192 in Murdo where we were eating a late lunch at the Drive Inn. The tug was white. We know that you saw our Uhaul. We saw you pointing. Was it you?

CindyL

PS: Francesca, does this count as being sighted? We both saw the passenger point at our Uhaul.

19 foot Scamp in the Decorah City campground. Would have drove in but didn't want to get chased out by the "Gatekeeper." Maybe they will see our Scamp in the driveway since it's pouring rain and they have nothing to do but drive around.

We saw the same Scamp in Decorah yesterday around noon. We didn't drive by your unit this time, but we have before. We like going to Dunning Springs when we visit Decorah.

Future sighting: Look for me going westbound the next two weeks on Route 66. Feel free to wave, holler, and or stop by and say hi if we are parked. Free tours.

Yesterday on the Adirondak Northway which is I87 we were headed north with our teardrop and spotted a fiberglass camper heading south. It was kind of squarish, light yellowish green color, rear door. We were about a half hour north of Albany NY at the time. Didn't get a good look at it.

That Parkliner is now 20 sites down from us at Fish Creek Pond campground. Owned by Brian & Nancy, I believe it is #35.

Most likely you won't see our #35 anywhere close to you as we are in Astoria Oregon.

Enjoy your adventure!

UHaul Close Encounter

Last week-end, joined George and Rhonda and their UHAUL, The Loose Caboose, at the KOA in Cherokee, NC. Would like to report that both UHAULS stayed DRY in the rain. Happy Campers!

Saw a couple of Scamps along the way!

Just spotted a scamp 5er heading north on highway 63 about 11 miles north of Waterloo Iowa as I was heading south on 63 towards Waterloo. They waved, I waved.

Scamp 5'er on the lot of Ketlesen's RV center in Hiawatha, Iowa, I could see it from the highway so I figured it counted.

Saw what I think was a blue and white Boler parked at a house by the Hannibal, Missouri visitor center on our way to St. Louis.

Guilty as charged! That was #034. Now that were home, the sun is out for the first time since last Thursday. Good thing New York charges for campsites by the day instead of per inch of rain.
