On Friday, June 13th, I saw two Escape trailers loaded on a flatbed and headed east on I-90 through Spearfish, SD. One was a fifth-wheel and the other was possibly a 21. This is the second time in two months I have seen new Escapes on their way to new owners.

Escapes held its annual meet up in the interior the week-end of the 6th so not many to be found down sitting around down on the mainland. If you want to see lots of them on your way back stop in at the factory its only a block off the highway.

Not going to be heading back, at least not planned for a couple of years. I considered stopping at the factory but it was a late Saturday afternoon, didn't think there would be too much going on around then.

Saw what appeared to be a Boler in black and orange eastbound on Hwy 5 at Hamilton ND this morning at 9:45 a.m. - no doubt dressed in Harley-Davidson colours coming from the 18th annual Cavalier Motorcycle Ride. They say it was nice there yesterday until the rain began about 5p.m. We saw a number of other (stick built) campers leaving Cavalier early today as well.

Thanks Mike, I wondered if it was them, I did not get a chance to see the tow. I saw their Boler inside and out at the Niagara Escape last September (where I also toured our now new to us Escape 5.0). Isn't that something about this FGRV world! Wish I had known they were there, the funny thing is we had thought of camping at Icelandic State Park just west of Cavalier this weekend then going to church in Cavalier (where we go about once a month - it's only 35 minutes from home for us) until I saw the forecast for rain. I didn't know about the Motorcycle Ride until we got there today!

I saw a Scamp 13 heading east on I-90 in NY somewhere around Syracuse maybe about 2:20 p.m. Friday the 13. Didn't catch the TV, we were heading west in bad weather with our ParkLiner.

Didn't know about this Sightings forum last month. In mid May I saw a Lil Snoozy on Hwy156 between Castroville and Hwy101 interchange. Headed toward 101. First I'd seen other than in pictures. One of the ones I'm interested in and had a real urge to U turn and try to catch up :-)

sightings

just returned from 3 weeks in the northeastern US. saw only one boler, an older one, with an ontario license....and with an even older driver who refused to turn his head as we frantically waved while passing! however,,,,he did speed up, catch us and eventually pass us---waving all the way! this was in northeastern ohio.

we also saw a beautiful casita 17...with a brand-new snail decal on the front. oh yes--i guess i should admit that it was parked. in its garage. in madison, ohio....home of ed and marje shook (forum members) whom we were visiting.

and after we left their place, we stayed in watkins glen state park in new york and parked ourselves beside a '72 trillium. these are new owners. have had it for a short time.
they're from bowmanville, ontario and i've invited them to join this group (maryanne and doug). sure hope they do! also gave them info for bolerama.

put on well over 5000 miles this trip and those were the only 3 sightings we had. guess the rainy weather has kept alot of people home.
