Today, Fri. July 20 '12, Bigfoot bumper pulled dual axle stopped in the southbound toll lanes coming off the Delaware Memorial from Jersey. I'm guessing it was a 19 or 21 footer. Not many in the MidAtlantic.

We just spent a week in Alberta, Canada checking out the National Parks of the Canadian Rockies: Banff, Jasper, Kootenay and Yoho. It was amazing how many FG trailers we saw. I lost count, but we saw many Bigfoots, Bolers, Trilliums and even one Escape. The American FG's were represented too, with a couple each of Scamps and Casitas. I have never seen this many FG trailers on one road trip before. We were especially drawn to the Escape, having never seen one before. It was parked at a trailhead where we could discreetly inspect it a bit. Very nice. We also saw quite a few Bigfoot truck campers in addition to the trailers.

Casita spotted near Rogers, Mn at Crystal Welding. I had a nice chat with the man owning this brand new Casita. I told him about this forum so hopefully he will join us here. My fiberglass love is a Casita. His was beautiful!
He and his wife should have many happy years in their new Casita.

This is kind of an odd sighting. I saw it on Television. I am in North Dakota. Some organization is doing some kind of study on the "man camps" in NW North Dakota in the oil fields. They were showing some of them with video taken and at one point they panned across an old fiberglass unit. It was a pretty quick look but it jumped out at me. It was an older unit not well maintained. It appeared to me to be either a Boler or maybe a Burro.

Two-tone (green and ivory) 13 footer (Boler or Scamp) on Highway 20 in Burlington (or Mt. Vernon, not sure which city I was in) on Thursday about 2 PM. Maroon SUV tow.

Passed a 13 ft Scamp parked in a driveway on Rte 13 in north central Massachusetts. Since we live in South central Mass., I'll say, "hi neighbor!"

Wife & I just returned yesterday from a 10day 'flying' trip to the Hopi Indian Reservation in AZ, & then on to Riverside, CA & back. Since the Scamp isn't yet what I'd call campable, we towed the teardrop trailer. Encountered several molded FG's on the road.

On Friday, Aug 17th we saw on I-40 in Santa Rosa, NM at approx 11:30AM an eastbound 13'(?) Casita, being towed by a black Ford P/U.

On Saturday, Aug 18th we saw an older 13' Scamp camped at Ft Tuthill military (Luke Air Force Base) recreation area near Flagstaff, AZ. Was occupied by 2 ladies and a big white dog. TV appeared to be a Subaru Outback. Didn't get to talk to owner & her friend didn't know much about the trailer. One or both must have some kind of military connection as entry is limited to people with a military ID.

On Wednesday, Aug 22nd we saw a 16' or 17' Casita (pretty late model) camped at Palo Duro Canyon SP, TX. Again, didn't get to talk to occupant(s) but they had a large black dog & a Silver GMC SUV, tow vehicle.

Saw a couple of others on the road in CA but traffic prevented a good enough look to identify trailers/TV's.

Sightings made us more eager to get our Scamp finished & 'on the road'

Saw a 13-foot Scamp at the Linesville Campground in Pymatuning State Park, PA.

We just missed each other, too, because I had been camping at that very campground this past Thursday and Friday nights. We went back tonight to see how crowded the campground would be on a Sunday night (not at all crowded).

Yesterday we saw a 13' Uhaul(it was unmarked, but I think it was a Uhaul) at Roper Lake Sate Park. The TV was a 4runner or jeep.

Why does this forum have two "Sightings" threads going? One that has been around for a very long time started by a moderator and the second started by a different moderator? Is there a difference?

I've always felt the "Sightings" thread should be a sticky. I wonder if we can get another moderator to merge the two threads and make them a sticky.
