Sis found a mystery trailer

Cory took these photos of a strange trailer on her way home, and she wonders what it is. Any identification experts out there?

She says it's all gutted out inside. Somebody's project!

It looks like a trillium 15'. I think it is called a Jubilee, but I might be wrong, it has been about three years since I saw one and can't remember the name.

Hi: Steve Hilby... Looks like a Surfside to me. Same shape as a Trill. but with squattier windows. Could be a EEE Surfside too.

Surfside?

It did look a lot like the Surfside photos on our site! Especially the wide body and the tri-paned windows.
Cory

P.S. I'll try to take some photos when they get it back on it's frame. It's sitting in a yard with 2 old schoolbuses (probably lived-in) so I don't have a heck of a lot of confidence it will get finished. The person that lived in the house (with the 2 big dogs and a nose-ring) obviously didn't know much about the trailer--it belongs to someone else living there. He said they took the "trailer" away recently to repair it--I was a little puzzled until I realized he was talking about the frame, axle, etc.!

How much is a gutted trailer like this worth?

Looks like a surfside to me also,

would be nice to find something like this for dirt cheap, put in full size windows and build a new trailer frame.

could be a nice trailer for next to nothing if someone is selling the shell for cheap.

those surfside windows sure do looks weird, there is just something not right about the look of that trailer. the windows are to low and to small.

Hi Cory,

Here are some pictures of a Surfside 14-foot Triple-E that was for sale in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada last June 2011 for $3850. The seller claimed it was in immaculate original condition. They didn't say what year it was.

It looks to be the same color as the one you found.

Mystery Trailer

Hi There Jeff,
Yes, that's a pretty one! I mean the outside---no comment on the choice of decor inside.

I must note that there was ONE thing inside the gutted-out trailer --- looked to be the insides of a heater or something similar. Now I feel better 'cause Jeff's photo(s) show a heater right where that hunk of junk was. Apparently they're going to keep it? Or maybe they couldn't get it out! tee-hee

It's a surfside...they have the two panes of glass in the windows and all the trilliums seem to have three panes of glass. Marina

Frame is back in yard

Thanks, Marinab.
The thing seemed so wide compared to my Compact Jr. that at first I thought, "It's a Bigfoot!".
I peeked over that way as I rolled past today and noticed the frame is back in the yard--albeit NOT yet back under the trailer. Do you have to use a crane or pulley or something to lift the body, or can, say, 6 people lift one of those up?
I'll bet a gutted trailer like that (the body appeared fully intact except for missing the manufacturer's plate, which they may have somewhere) would be worth maybe $750?
What do you think?
