Snoozy Waterheater ?s

I remain nervous about turning on the water heater, but need to do so before it is an emergency (really really cold out).

The LilSnoozy came with the heater unplugged. I filled the onboard water tank to the brim (water shooting out the input after I removed the hose. ) I had turned on the hot water on the faucet while filling and it immediately had water running so I am guessing that the water heater is full?

Can anyone tell me if I have forgotten anything prior to plugging it in?
Heading out this afternoon for a long weekend in NC, and I will probably definitelyneed to use it in June in Canada.

If you have water coming from the hot water faucet you can safely plug it in. Check the control panel and make sure the hot water switch is on.

I leave mine on during camping season. It is fine to do that as long as it has water in it. It will start working when you plug the trailer to outside power.

Just make sure you don't have bypass valves set to bypass the water heater thus leaving it empty. You should get quite a bit of air out faucet when filling water heater

There are no bypass valves on the LIL Snoozy water heater

So, when you go to winterize the trailer, you have to put six gallons of RV antifreeze in the water heater?

Can't speak for the new ones but my 2014 has a 4 gallon heater that has no drain. You can either take it out and pour the water out or use enough antifreeze to fill it and the pipes. I use antifreeze.

No anode? No drain?

Yes it does have an anode. According to the manual you pull the heating element to access the anode.
