Snow. Really. SNOW. S-N-O-W

I just got all the side rivets for the rear partition back into the Scamp. One trip down to Seven Corners for a 3/16 x 1" and all was good. Good thing...they (you know...THEY) are predicting 6" to 9" of snow tonight. On May 1st. What the frakk?

We experienced snow flurries on Monday and Tuesday this week. No accumulation but we just cannot seem to get away from winter this year

Just spent a nice warm week in Santa Monica CA and touring the area. Not super hot, just nice. Sure hope Calgary gets to some nicer weather soon too. Though most evidence supports it, I sometimes doubt the whole global warning thing.

The vultures around our area probably wished they had stayed south longer.

It was 86 degrees here yesterday in KS, today should be in the 70's and tomorrow the high is supposed to be 38 degrees with snow. We had just started painting and cleaning up the yard, the blossoms are on the apple tree and the tulips are blooming................... I think the groundhogs have been interbreeding for too long!!!

Global warming has been solved.
They changed the term to climate change.

Well Jim if you start to head towards home stick to the coast before heading over those big mountains - in the low 80's in Portland over the week-end and sunny here in Vancouver with highs into low 70's for the next 5 days or more.

Supposed to be global warming causing this craziness. The melting of the ice caps is supposed to be the reason: Is Shrinking Sea Ice Behind Chilly Spring?

I wish I was travelling by auto/trailer, but this was a quick trip so we flew down. Landed on snow covered ground yesterday, BUT it is supposed to be warming up nice this week.

Time to dust off the mountain bike and go get some exercise.

CindyL,

"Supposed to be global warming causing this craziness. The melting of the ice caps is supposed to be the reason: Is Shrinking Sea Ice Behind Chilly Spring?"

I bolded the words "caps" because Antarctica, the southern ice cap has been above normal in ice for the last 3 years.

anyone who doeesnt believe in global warming should see the film Chasing Ice it been known to change more than a few minds on the topic. If nothing else its very worth while seeing for just the photography.

What ever the reality is of 'Chasing Ice', it doesn't chnge the reality of the Antarctica, something warmist like to ignore.

Some of the expects claim this is due to increased moisture caused by general warming. As the Antarctica is actually a bit of dry desert on its own
