Something Completely Different?

I can't quite figure this one out, unless it's a kids camper?

Talk among yourselves:

MINI-CAMPER / TRAILER

Humm, the pictures are confusing. The front pic shows something like a window and nothing on the top. The pictures of the cooking area has something that looks like a turret on the top.

Strange.

Somebody's idea of a homemade teardrop. Over on the tnttt site (teardrops and tiny travel trailers) there's some odd and unique homemade campers. Some are quite elaborate and thought out design, some are plain & simple, and some just odd.

I've seen a similar comment several times on the tnttt site after a builder completed his trailer, "It ended up a lot heavier than I expected" !!

You see that comment quite a bit in the following thread right here at this site, too...

Looks like nice craftsmanship. A fun project for sure. A cannon would be a nice touch under that front window.

I can just barely make out something flat on the top in the front pic; a closed "turret"? It looks like the larger wedge section of the "turret" hinges at the front to bring it above the surface, then the top lid is hinged at the back to open toward the front, creating a stand-up area inside with visibility to the front.

The cooking area must be a tail-gate hatch at the back, with the lower drawer sliding under the bunk with the hinged back-rest. the upper cabinet shelf units must fold up inside the upper cabinet.

All it is missing is tent fabric and cushions.

A cross of ideas of tear drop and a transformer.
