Sometime Lucky

Sometimes I get lucky.
Was standing over the toilet, taking a leak.
Lucky I wasn't in the trailer.
Lucky when a lens fell out of my bifocals that it didn't land in the toilet.
Lucky that I didn't try to catch the lens, since I was occupied at the time.

Lucky that I didn't lose the screw.
Lucky that I had an old pair of glasses in the trailer so I could see to put it back together.
No pictures.

No pictures? Good, when you said what was occupying your attention you already gave us too much information. LOL

probably we're Lucky we did not hear all the "WORDS COMING OUT OF YOUR MOUTH" as this all was happening! LOL!

The man down the street has the nick-name "Lucky"
I could never understand it???
He had only one eye, a wooden leg, only three fingers on his left hand and half of one ear was missing.
Guess he was "Lucky" at least he wasn't dead!

Different "location" when that happened to me Glenn. Funny now, but at the time I had visions of being Helen Keller .

There’s a 3-legged dog by the name of Lucky....
I was camping in South Dakota when a screaming teenager raced through the campground. Her phone had fallen into the squat box (aka outhouse)!

Talk about unlucky;

Me and a friend were in the National Guard together. We were at large training encampment. He went to use one of the Porta Johns provided. The door was open and another fellow was stirring in the tank with a stick. May friend asked what he was doing. "I lost my jacket down there". My friend said " Well it is ruined now". " That's not the problem" the other guy said " My lunch was in my pocket!"

When I was a kid, we had a dog named Lucky. Unfortunately, Lucky was hit by a Greyhound bus.

Lucky?

Your stories have reminded me of a not-so-lucky fellow I met while trekking to Everest basecamp area many years ago. He was with an Australian film crew, there to film some sort of documentary or maybe some PR footage, and their crew ended up staying in the same little villages as I did each night.

He thought he was very lucky when we finally came across a village where there was actually an outhouse, as any sort of “facility” was grimly lacking along the trail (this was about 30 yrs ago). This particular outhouse was up a staircase, about 20 feet off the ground, so the offerings had a loooong drop. Poor guy, he dropped a very expensive and critical piece of camera equipment down the hole, I think it was a light meter. When last seen, he was trying to figure out how to fish it out of the big pile at the bottom of the deep hole... so no longer feeling quite so lucky!
