Standing Rock Accomodations

Nope - I'm not trying to be political here. Just wanted to share the news about the sleeping arrangements of some of the Water Protectors at that big camp. Yup - quite a few Bolers/Trilliums/Bigfoots (feet?)or similar.

Hazel---- I noticed that, too, on the news. Even with the expected condensation build-up inside because of the cold weather outside, it'd still be alot warmer and much, much more comfortable than sleeping in tents!!!

Standing Rock

I just got back from there. I have been there for 2 months. It was really cold. I have a 13 ft. Burro. Because of the double walls in it I did not have much condensation. I heated mostly with a little Mr Buddy. Even on low it nearly ran me out. I had my dog with me too. She helped keep me warm. I have always been known to sleep with dogs.

Hi Kirkman.I will consider the new handle "sleeps with dogs" thats a good one. Eagle of Flight is a name given by my Grandmother. I have been a nurse my whole working life and was always called Chief, due to my native heritage. I had lung cancer in 2007 loosing the left lung. Some clever doctor at the hospital started calling me Chiefonelung. That has stuck and has become email with yahoo and other signatures.
