Started with a full tank

Drove 3000 kms with the boler and all our stuff along and ended with a full tank.
Left ElCentro Ca. Feb 7 did about 500 km day and were home( Wynndel Bc Can.) on the 11th.
Started at 50 ft. below sea level and ended up 2250 above. we were over 4000 ft several times along the way and down to the Or. coast.
Have to add everything up and will post fuel mileage and route.
Our 2004 Toyota has 350,00kms on it the engine light is on for O2 sensors for about a year.

Great to hear you’re having a good experience with your Toyota. Our 2012 Highlander is at 285,000km and going strong. About 70,000km of these miles have been pulling the 19 and 21 Escapes from sea level on both coasts to over 10,000 feet in the Rockies several times. Looking forward to another
camping season and rolling more miles on that grey dog.

I love to see you both happy with your Toyota's and how they continue to perform. Our 2011 Highlander has 189,000 miles on it and while we talked about trading it in for something newer, we've decided to keep it and continue our adventurous with it! Happy travels!

Finally got around to totalling up the numbers for our trip home. We averaged 15.8 miles per US gal on an average cost of $3.43 per gal prem.
Happy with those numbers being I ran right around 65 mph most of the time.
Our trip was a wandering effort northward.
First day we went up to Palm Springs up to hwy 138 across to Palmdale and 58 to Bakersfield.
Stayed at the Orange Grove RV PK there cause its in the orange grove and you can pick oranges for free!! And, great facilities!
2nd day up 99 to Stockton(mistake, TRAFFIC and poor pavement) should have used I 5 to 12 and across to Napa to the Skyline Wilderness Pk.
Bathrooms aren't great but beautiful spot.
3rd day we traveled a Great motorcycle road, but alas we were in a Minivan pulling a Boler, Hwy 128 over to the coast and up to Fortuna where we stayed at Riverwalk Rv.
4th day we cruised up the coast to Florence and stayed at a place that catered to coaches but had the nicest bathrooms and social room we've been in! Pacific Pines RV.
5th day we drove over to I 5 through Portland to I 84 and out to The Dalles.
We usually stay at the Motel 6 there, one of the few 6's left that are worth staying at.
The last day was our longest, we were averaging about 300 miles a day but the last one was 425 or so.
I will edit this post with a few pics once I have them on my laptop.

Thought I could edit my post but the option is gone so here are a couple pics.
1) is a shot of Skyline Wildness PK at Napa
2) a roadside stop between Ft. Bragg and the 101
3) Our spot at Riverwalk RV in Fortuna CA.
The last 3 are at a RV dealership in Salem Or.
We pulled of the 5 to grab a sub for lunch and almost hit the curb when I seen these!
Didn't know someone was reproducing the little red and white one.

Looks like a great trip Fred.
I liked seeing the three new ones. The red and white one cool, unique and how fun is that! Looks like the row boat unhooks? Camp and unhook the boat and go catch dinner. Is it a custom build you think?

The red and white one, American Dream is a reproduction of a unit built in the late 50s or 60s I believe called the Taylor or maybe Taylor made. I don't know much about them other than the "boat" does come off the top so you can catch supper,, lol
