Very similar in construction to the original teardrop trailers. All of the plans were available in Popular Mechanics for the homebuilder.

True, it does. The caravan in Kitchen Stories, a very funny, quirky and entertaining movie, looks to me even more like a precursor to the TaB. Warning though, strong Volvo 444 content

To be fair to Tabbert, the German company that originally built the Tab, it is loosely a copy of their own 'Ideal' trailer from 1955:
