Hi Doug - sorry I didn't get back sooner - we were at the Seattle roadster show for the weekend.

Thanks for the invite but we're heading for the Portland jazz festival & thought Astoria might tie in if there was a show on the July 1st - 4th weekend.

Sam

At Seattle R.S. didja happen to catch a Burgundy/Cream 40 Ford DropTop dispalyed in a Route 66 display? Fellow Glass Egg owners from up here own it. WELL SHE owns that car and SHE also owns the redun 17ft Boler too. HE is a Canadian rodder from up near me and THEY are snobirders who live here in summertime and in Orygun in the cooler months!
As I stated earlier there is NO car show at the KOA but there will be close to 10 rods there that week. (I "am" trying to get something small organized in that area though, as I am also a member of North Coast Crusiers from that area!)

Just went through my digital photos thinking that I took a shot of a '40 convert - if it's the Franklins then I got a photo of it. Quite a few Canadian cars there. Great show!

yeah, Charlotte Franklin (They are also fellow BCHRA members).
I'm told that the display left MUCH to be desired.

That car is destined to be a trailer queen too, btw!!!
