The 2010 version of Microsoft's Streets and Trips program has just been released. One new feature that stands out is the ability to export, either wirelessly or via USB, the start-stops-end points in a route to your GPS! They show up in the Favorites list (on the Garmin, and I assume the others) making it easy to use the GPS to follow the route created in S&T.
I usually do my anticipated route for a trip in S&T, then manually copy coordinates into the Garmin for any waypoints or sights along the way, typing in the names to boot. This new feature should save me all that extra effort. (Will be looking for it at Costco.)
