Superbowl!!!!

Any football fans here? So many of us are from the PNW and Seahawk fans I thought I'd start a thread to give a "civil" thumbs up to your favorite team.

How 'bout a poll on how many people watched the Pro Bowl and actually stayed with it until it was over?
I almost lasted to the end of the first quarter.

When I noticed that Deon Sanders was involved I didn't even turn it on.

The good football (CFL) ended in November.

For me the NFL is too much hype, more about everything outside of the game, rather than the game itself. Though, the CFL seems to be slowly striving to be their too.

Steve ,I feel like I don't even know you anymore!

Go Broncos!

I am in STL,Need I say any more?

I too turned on the Pro Bowl briefly and couldn't grasp the point of it even less than usual so surfing the channels I went. They need to just stop with that game and let us focus even more on the carnage of the real game.

I've followed the Seahawks since before they were "hatched". Die hard fan. I just hope the officials don't take it away like that last "less than" Superbowl against Pittsburgh.

IMHO, it is idiotic of the NFL to select NY for a Super Bowl in February. And the officiating in the playoffs was, in many cases, a joke. I can't say I agree with taunting. I mean should I fell sorry for someone who earns more for one game than the average person earns in a year if he is taunted by someone else who is highly paid. We're not talking about kids on the playground. And though I will probably tick off a lot of people, I dislike both teams and think its a shame that they cannot both lose.

And the people in NYC are still crying that it's not the Giants vs the Jets!

GO BEARS! Oh wait, that's 2015... I love NFL football. (typically) whatelse is there to do in the Pacific NorthWET on a Sunday afternoon. Wind is blowing, rain is coming down sidewise... watch two teams hammer one another. I have the NFL network on cable. They don't always follow the action of the ball, but what's going on with the other 10 players on each side. It's entertainment! Besides, the washing machine is going and laundry needs to be folded and ABC/NBC/CBS is showing junk....

As if they did!

The 'bowl's happening in NEW JERSEY, and that State is havin' a royal hissy fit over the fact that everybody keeps sayin' it's in New York.

What is UP with that, anyway?????

Side note:

Out here in Seahawks Territory, local wags are callin' it the "Bud Bowl' in honor of the fact that it's between teams representing the only two States in the Union that have legalized The Demon Weed!

We all know NJ is just a suburb of NY! And the Statue of Liberty is actually in NJ, not NY. But who really cares.

The Lions beat themselves out of playoff contention with turnovers... snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. All that talent gone to waste this season. Oh well...

My daughters's guy is a huge Broncos fan, so I guess I'll have to side with him. Although the Seahawks do have nicer uniforms, that won't save them from being trampled by Manning & Company.

Don't forget we beat the Broncos in the preseason 40-10. It was only 27-7 when Manning called it a night. I seriously think it will be a total blow out on the side of Seattle. That is if the referees don't decide to reward Manning for his wonderful year and call a lot of ticky tack penalties to help them out.
