And TAB aside, it's a great way to find out if small trailers are for YOU. Better to rent for 5 days, than plunk down thousands to find out THEN you made a mistake....

Notice I said YOU, not ME

I'm with Donna - renting may be expensive for what you get, unless you compare it to buying an RV that isn't right for you, and having to resell it. We rented a tent trailer for a week, and enjoyed the trip, but were glad we had not purchased.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

I'd rent one of these before buying a teardrop- it would be a great way to see if they were big enough. Though these are big, expensive teardrops compared to what I've seen used.

Sierra Teardrops

Sierra Teardrops (up near Auburn on the way to Tahoe) has three T@B trailers for rent, two of them are 2015 models with showers and toilets. One has the clamshell kitchen in back, two have the kitchens inside. Fully outfitted, 90-110/night depending on the model. Plenty of pictures and info on the website! (530) 366-3133
