Tankless water heaters (for showering)

Has anyone tried one of these? They require a garden hose hookup for water supply and pressure but one can also hook up a 12 volt pump and a pail of water.

And video showing pump hookup:

I haven't used one of those but have considered getting one. The 12 volt water pump is a great idea. I did get a Zodi Extreme though. All you need is a 1 lb. propane tank and some water. I'll use it for camping and power outages. I'm on a well so anytime the power goes out, so does the well. I have a generator with a 220 plug but haven't wired the well yet to get it off the grid while running it on the generator (got to be safe ya'know)
Here's the Zodi I have

We've owned the Eccotemp L5 for a few years now, and it has performed beautifully. We use it for the outdoor shower stall on our camping property in the mountains. We love it. It uses very little gas, and the steady stream of hot water is wonderful. It rigs up in minutes. We take the D cell battery out when not in use.
You do realize that it is rated for outdoor use, only?
Eccotemp does make other indoor use models. If we ever get around to building the little "off the grid" cabin we plan to have someday, the water heater will likely be another Eccotemp.
I bought ours on Overstock dot com for around $100. Best $100 we've spent in a long time... Nine of us camped together last summer, and the little heater never let us down.
