There is no cure or technology available for fixing stupidity.

So true, Donna! Unfortunately, it makes it easier to get others involved in it

The same sort of thing is happening in sailing, where people will call for rescue when their engine dies..... without even putting up the sails. Hello! Sailboat!

Or call 911 because they didn't get fries with their hamburger.

I believe technology is the invention of Mr. Darwin to make his job easier.

Send a message via Yahoo to Kevin A
Speaking of using 911, the answering machine message at our local dentists' office says to call 911 in the event of a emergency involving your teeth during non-office hours. While I can see using 911 if I lost all my teeth in an accident, I can also see some people calling 911 for a toothache or a lost filling. Some common sense required!

Unfortunately, common sense is not inherited through genetics, learned from parents, or taught in schools.

On the other hand, what some people claim is common sense to support their political or social agenda, is anything but common sense.
