I'm glad you finally go your "dream" trailer. Hope you have many many miles of happy traveling. Maybe one winter soon we'll meet in Death Valley. We caught Anne H. there is year.

I drove 57-65mph. Tried to keep it at about 60mph. I got 16.2MPG. OMG, OMG, Everyone has talked about a trailer 8" wider and about 2,000lbs heavier than my 16' Scamp being a bit of a fuel hog. I didint' find that at all! Time will tell, but right now... I'm a happy camper
Donna..you may be interested in a little item called an UltraGauge. It is around $70. I use it for all my trips and also for around town. Has MANY info points you can put on 3 different screens. Depends on what you want to keep an eye on. I use the trip info on one screen. It plugs into the the computer socket in the car.

Donna..... Keep in mind that on your way to pick up 10 Forward you were headed up. On the way back, you were going down. Hence the great mpg coming back !!!

Isn't it the other way? The magnetic north pole should be pulling all that steel in the F150 "up", so it used up more gas going "down" against the field. Just thinking...is the ecoboost a little like the warp drive?

Has anyone else noticed that, now that she has her new giddy-up-go, Donna D is spending a lot less time chatting with us on this forum? Hummm. I wonder what's distracting her so....

Yup, I remember last year it was like she fell off the face of the earth for a while... but then she came back from the NOG and all was as before.

I'm certainly glad that her new baby was ready in time for this year's gathering!

Starfleet Academy Alum

Donna D, I know it's a different space genre, but I thought you'd enjoy seeing these (spotted in the back window of a random pickup in a random parking lot) if you haven't seen them before. Since you're good at making decals, perhaps you can create "Starfleet Academy Alumni" decals for your new F150 and "Ten Forward" Escape (if there's not already a trademarked commercial product out there).
