I had the opportunity to meet Dave today. Marilyn and I are staying fairly close to where Dave lives and after a couple a PM s he decided to stop by as he was to be in El Centro anyway.
We had a great visit and got to know each other a bit, AND he brought his angle grinder with him at my request.

DON'T FORGET YOUR KEYS!!!
We stayed in motels all the way down and it wasn't till I was setting up here that I realized I'd forgot the key for the coupler lock.
I got the coupler off the trailer by unbolting it from the tongue and have been driving around with the coupler still on the ball for 2 weeks or more!
Anyway the angle grinder made quick work of the lock. THANKS DAVE!
Think I'll take Dave's advice and hide the keys for trailer locks on the trailer!!!

well fred you got to meet a nice guy my wife always carries our extra set. believe at times being married to a school teacher is worth it! sometimes not!
