thanks giving.

I have lots to be thankful for this year and would like to share some of it with you.

way back in february the wife and i went to backus to pick up our new scamp. since then we have camped about 40 nights in her. i am thankful my wife is enjoying this time with me.
and the time i sent this year doing volunteer work with "sturgeon forever" , the dnr, and michigan state university up in onoway. and my work with the dnr stewardship program, eradicating invasive plants, picking wildflower seeds to replant, and capturing moths for study by michigan state university.
i'm greatful for my children, they grew up into some great young people. my daughter has just accepted a position as a child protection worker. and one of my sons has become very active in the church, and the knights of columbus doing comunity service work.
my grand children are just awsome. smart beautiful and caring.
my dogs haven't chewed up anything of value all year,,,i'm thankful for that.
my father-in-law fell and injured himself, and ended in an extended care place until he can be on his own again. i am thankfull he is still with us. i love the old geezer a lot. he treated me better then my own family did.

we held the first annual fiberglassic egg scramble in algonac state park here in michigan, and it was a smashing success. i am greatfull we were able to put it together, and met so many wonderful friends that weekend.
i am greatful for the memories of my old hunting pal that passed away a few years back.
and finaly i am greatfull to be alive, fairly healthy, and living in the greatest state, in the greatest country in the world.
so thanks to you all for being out there. and may you each have blessings beyond count.
happy thanks giving to you all.

hmmmmP.S. i'm thankfull also for the really nice bottle of jamesons someone gave me this week,,,,lol

Among other things, I'm thankful that we met you, John, and the others at the Algonac glassic and are looking forward to the next one. I'm thankful for my wife of almost 49 years, of my son, of my daughter-in-law, my grandchildren, our granddog, our health, and countless other things.

I am thankful that our drought has moved from severe to moderate; that my cattle were sold this past summer via private treaty and did not have to go thru the sale barn; my two ponds that were cleaned out are now 1/3 full of water; the weather has been good; I was able to get the Ewe Scamp Camp fairly level when i pulled it out to the lambing area; I am surrounded by good neighbors (within 1/4-1/2 mile away); that we were able to get a house/farm sitter this summer and fall so we could go camping, sightseeing, and visiting friends in other states; we were able to attend a rally and meet some wonderful people. And the list goes is good!

Hi: All...Our Canadian Thanksgiving was last month...but hey... I love a party!!! I'm thankful that I didn't wait till I retired to buy our Escape 5.0. We have enjoyed 5 summers of discovery with it.
I'm most thankful to Medical Science for giving me a second kick at the cat.
For a wonderful family that's growing every year....but # one on my list is my wife of 40 yrs. without whom none of the above would have been possible!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! Every single day is a gift and while we can't change yesterday, we have the opportunity to make tomorrow exactly as we wish. Make it with kindness, happiness and gratitude.
