OK, explain. A single color exterior costs $250. A two-color exterior costs $500. What does it cost if I want no color?
It's being marketed as the "American Dream". Smaller, simpler, cheaper.
Is that really the American dream? Where do I mount the 42" TV and the SAT? Can I put a bass boat on top instead of that rowboat?
I'm sure some will buy these, but I don't see much of a market.

It's cute, I think I remember hearing about this style a few years back. There is a decent sized teardrop trailer market among the classic car folks.... so some might want one to go with their car.

It is sad that the manuf hasn't considered putting in some real spec's like interior headroom. When I built my 2 teardrop trailer sized gypsy vardo's I think I had the center height around 54", just tall enough to sit on a milk crate in side(was thinking of adding a small porta potty)

Yes I had fun towing it around...but honestly when my boat got totaled from Hurricane Sandy I bought my ParkLiner because I wanted to be able to stand up inside...and a fridge and shower and all that made the camping experience a lot more fun. But everyone's needs are different.

heh yeah I'm about a 100 or so pounds heavier back then....funny looking at old pictures.

Yep, Paul has been seen hereabouts a number of times with his teardrop project.

I am sure that there is a market for it among the more basic outdoors types who would be embarrassed being seen in even a 13' FGRV. Types like my son and his wife, who are slowly making the transition out of tents via a tent trailer I refurbished for them. I remember going through that stage in life myself.

The original has been around for more than a few years. My Dad and I looked at one in a campground in about 1954. I "think" it was called the "Taylor Trailerboat", or maybe the "Traylorboat" back then.

Also I notice that FGRV still hasn't listed the Outback.

Interesting that they call their trailers "Outback" but list themselves as Trillium.
