The Eagles and the Bike Trail

With part of my family home we took the bikes out to the Fish Hatchery in Decorah where the famous eagles live. You can hear them calling to each other. We rode our bikes up the switch backs above the Hatchery. I made it all the way without walking even with being out of biking condition though I did pass going back the other way. Our son just purchased a top of the line mountain bike after loosing his beloved one to a thief in Minneapolis. All the bells and whistles and made getting on mine feel like a lead sled. The bike trail will be more awesome then it is now when fully finished and a must to walk or ride if you ever have a chance to visit.
