I use it for reading only when I surf in bed. Don't use it to upload or post.

I use it frequently on my iPad, a little hard to use on my iPhone because of screen size. I like it, it is a good way to catch up while away from my desktop. It is easy to use and install. It does take a bit to get used to the different method of navigating and that maybe why other users do not care for it.
I have asked the moderators to install one on the Escape forum but so far it has fallen on deaf ears.

I like the app. It's convenience is great. Like most new items it took a little while to get use to it but that's common enough.

Don't like it, don't use it, and I find it extremely annoying that I have to refuse it every time I visit.

I too think the app is great. Works great on my Galaxy S3, and my wife's Nexus tablet. I have no issue whatsoever posting, editing, quoting, etc.
I think you just need to give it a really good try for a while and figure it out.
I just wish more forums would adopt similar apps.

Don't understand "Having to refuse it". It only comes up on my phone when I select it.

On my Galaxy Tab 10.1, (usually from home) the first time I access the forum each day, a pop-up box comes up and asks me if I want to download the app. Each time I click the "no" box. I'm not all that thrilled with Firefox so that would be an unattractive solution.
I've tried the app. I don't like it.
I use the native browser that comes with Android. I don't know if would happen with Firefox or not. Maybe I'll check this evening.
I've wandered through the menus in the User CP but haven't found a menu item to click this off. I believe I can configure the Galaxy to stop telling the web that I'm using a tablet but I'm disinclined to have that option permanently set.

It's ok. I still have not found how to get to the U Haul section other than going threw a regular browser and selecting it by the type of trailer from the forum home page.

Yeah, it is somewhat pared down, and doesn't have all the features of the regular site, but it does the basic stuff very well.

I like this app and others like it because when ever I'm away from my computer I still can be in touch with frv, my email or whatever without my computer (or pad) present.
My smart phone has it and is always with me. Waiting to pickup a pizza, in line at the bank drive thru...where ever I can use the time to use apps not to mention that it also serves as an ebook. The phone has turned out to be just great.
As I learned this week, it notifies me of events like the Boston bombing automatically.

Hazel, there is an app for smartphones for using this site more effectively than trying too use the full blown site used on a computer.
