The Great Meander 2010

Before retiring; I had planned to see the rest of this great country. Last year, I took my grandson out for 3 weeks thru Oregon, CA, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Colorado.

This year, it will be just me. This will take 45 days and conclude with the gathering in Oregon in October. I will go east as far as Fargo, ND and south to Phoenix. I'm a rockhound so that is the intent; by the time I get into Oregon, the pickup might be maxxed out.

Anyone along the way want to meet up for a cuppa java?

We are headed for Oregon from Virginia in September on an extended treck also. Perhaps we will meet at the October get together.

Was in NM 3 years ago and did stay at Rockhound state park. Friend down there has an amazing collection pf thundereggs that he has collected.
