You can have almost have it all - just have them put a few Window/Maxx vents on it. Have found they work really well.

Robert Johans mentioned in his thread about the new Nest Caravan, that he could get the jalousie windows dual glazed. My concern with them is how tight they would be for cold climates with the large amount of seals they have, and the mullions that would be blocking an otherwise clear view.

Sorry, just had to jump in to make a correction...

And apologies for the misunderstanding, but as our Nest product design has been evolving, so too are some of the features.

Dual glazed windows will be available as an option, but they will not be jalousies... We will instead now use a new automotive-style, "frameless" tilt out from Kinro.

Now back to the original thread topic...

Hi: Donna D... You only have 7 more till THE BIG NUMBER "10". Keep your cheque book in the deep freeze to prevent overheating when you have to write that big number!!!

Frameless windows is the way to go, even with the double pane ones in the Escape, the aluminum frame will still sweat. By eliminating the frame, you eliminate the problem.

I don't know Donna, getting a brand spankin' new trailer just takes the fun out of it! No fun like leaks, rust, mold, cracks, creaks, rattles, or use for duct tape and WD 40! What fun is it if you can't take a hammer, screw driver, or sandpaper to it? Just giving you a bad time. You'll be the bell of the camping ball, while the rest of us will look like the court jesters next to you and your rolling mansion. Congratulations, and I hope you'll christen her with a decent bottle of Andre champagne. You'll also have to give it a catchy name like Donna's Dream Coach. Keep us posted and keep a postin'.

I wouldn't know Filbert. My Scamp was NEVER in that kinda shape and I've taken care of it since I owned it. I wouldn't be buying now except I want a different layout and more space for spending a whole lot more time traveling. Gotta check off that Bucket List.

I sign off on my build list in four days. OMG!
