A lovely couple from Lewisporte on Newfoundland's Northeast coast just hitched up the
Trillium, and are headed home with it. Sad to see it go in some ways, but I guess I just found I'm not really a trailer guy, and it's wonderful to see it in the hands of people who'll care for it well and use it lot.
I had just three trips in it in the three years I had it - one to the Codroy Valley, and two to Dildo Run; while I enjoyed them, my interest gradually waned and it sat all last summer. Sailors have a saying for boats that aren't being used...."Time to sail it or sell it"...and it was time to pass the trailer along. Real pleasure to how excited and pleased the new owners are, and what nice folks have taken over the Trill..
As I told them, one of the very best parts of having the Nor'Easter Egg was this forum - a wonderful community of people who are knowledgeable beyond belief, helpful beyond all reasonable expectation, and so thoroughly into these marvelous little rigs. Thank you one and all, with special tip of the hat to the moderators who work so hard to make FiberglassRV one of the stellar websites in the cyber world.
Me, it's back to the Tarn2 tent for nice nights, the gutted Dodge Caravan when it pours down buckets, and maybe, maybe, a small coastal cruising sailboat once again down the road. If anyone's heading for central Newfoundland and needs a spot to park for a few nights and a good strong cup of coffee, tuck my email away...and thanks again!
