The Tent Outside...
Since most of our trailers are small (13-15ft) & many of us pitch (screened) tents just outside the door for extra room...
I thought it would be good to have a thread where we could post some pictures & a description (size, etc..) of our "tents" that give us a bit more livable-space at our campsites.
Thanks in advance to those that post pictures !!

Good place to put the outdoor kitchen.

This is our 10ft x 10ft EZ popup tent from WalMart. It received some wind damage last year so will see how it holds up in spring. It also comes with netting and one privacy panel. Once we got the hang of it, we could set it up in 5 minutes approx.

You're lucky! My EZ-up bought 8 months ago did not come with any side panels. I bought the side screens (2 pieces with zippers that cover 4 walls) for another $30.
Regards,
Matt

We've had this screen tent since owning the Compact Jr. which I figure is close to eight years now. We don't put it up unless we're staying in one spot for 3 days or more. I like to enclose the campsite's picnic table with it.

Hi: PaulOWindsor...We have two tents outside. A Woods Dining Shelter and the Custom Screen Room for our Escape 5.0. The screen rm. is easy to put up if you know your left from your other left!!! The dining shelter is another story. A throw back to pitching tents. Our mat underfoot is a campground friendly mat that will allow the grass to breath and grow thru, and can be folded into its own carry bag.

We have a mat like Alf's---made for outdoors, folds to a nice size, carrying case.

We use a 10x10 dining shelter with 4 roll-up sides that can be rolled up for ventilation, pegged and poled for sunshade or fastened down for wind and rain.
The other pic shows an 8X10 awning from a larger trailer and a screen enclosure that I am still working on to make a screen room for the boler. The screen room is bulky when folded and only goes along for a standing camp. The awning can fold flat over the spare in the tow so it goes along when touring.

Check out this umbrella-style 8-ft wide pop-up from Cabela's- talk about instant!
It's called "SportBrella", and comes in blue, too.
