You can get Road Food as an epub for e-readers too I believe. I still prefer to carry the book though

Calories in, calories out. It's all about balance.

Once past the taste buds... your stomach doesn't care. It could be sawdust with ketchup!

Slow down, enjoy every spoonful/forkful!

I will also say that fats are important in a diet, though like any thing to excess is dangerous.

Since we began RVing we are diet conscious and have lost over 100 lbs between us. Giving up bread and other wheat products caused us to quickly lose 10 pounds (except when in NL where there bread is so good it's hard to ignore.)

I will say that was the best onion rings we've ever had, a really sweet coating and closer to a donut with a slice of onion.

We basically avoided supper yesterday.
Norm, A excellent book on the subject of carbs and fats in your diet is
Grain Brain by David Perimutter M.D.
I seen him on Public T.V. and got a copy of his book at the local library. It will open your eyes on the health problems that wheat and gluten are causing and most people don't even know that's the cause. But, why is wheat products and bread, oh so good, just not fair.

Stan, We read a similar book titled the Wheat Belly. It gave us pause and we have dramatically cut our wheat intake.
