I like this lock and will probably pick up a pair. Also might as well get a set of the wheel lug locks so they cant remove the tire. I have bookmarked this super page.
Thanks

I've never done anything beyond locking the door.
I got window stickers from FG.com & Casita club in a window of my unit. If someone is that interested they'll look at them & see the classifieds.

Sorry to hear that you are in the hospital, but I just thought I'd call to tell you how healthy I am.

I'd put a For Sale sign on it... $35,000, no other offers accepted.

I used to keep a sign in the window
NO IT'S NOT
Then a chap asked the meaning of the sign and before I answered he just said "Oh!"

Sorry if you think I'm being smug Tom, the intention was just to comment on the difference geography can make on our life experiences. Living where I do doesn't make me smarter or better, but perhaps more fortunate.
My comment was just meant to add perspective, just as your comments do on the many threads on which you post.
Sad, the forum used to be so friendly. Time to move on, I guess.
So long

Me too with any material items I own.
Heck, I very rarely have any kind of lock on my trailer, even in front of my house. I know maybe I should, I just couldn't be bothered with worrying, 'tis not my style.
And the same with grandkids, or any family member for that matter, as well as some close friends, I would go the the end of the earth to protect them.

LOL Gene you've got that right and it makes me appreciate the big city of Vancouver even more. I wouldnt sleep a wink knowing all those strangers were walking or driving by if I thought the worst of everyone. Put insurance and a lock on the trailer and what will be will be - trailers get stolen in the country, state parks, cities, backwoods - you name it - worrying to much about it isnt going to prevent it.
People leaving notes on fiberglass trailers is pretty common stuff. I would be more worried at this point for the safety of the poor guy who had his cellphone number publically posted here on the internet - bet it didnt occur to him that was going to happen when he left that note.

That sure worked for an elderly couple here in B.C.
The bad guys broke down the door, tied the couple up and stole nine firearms and a substantial amount of ammunition.
I think the advice is NOT to advertise that you have weapons.
