Went out to put the girls in (they better hope no one is are rooster) and no one in hen house. I thought Oh, man! So there they all are minus one roosting in a tree. So I shake them out and scoot them to the house and go looking for the missing one, who is a favorite, thinking something must have spooked them up into the tree. No chicken. My neighbors probably thought I was spotlighting deer. We have had so much trouble with hawks and possum this year I am down to 5 from 10 in a matter of weeks. I get my jeep out this morning, no chicken in garage, no feathers anywhere. Go to put the jeep away this afternoon and out runs the chicken. Everything's cool. Everyone get let out of lock down. Except this is the only way I catch her to get her into the hen house. And she wasn't to happy about going in.
