I keep seeing threads I started marked as "moved". What does that mean and where/why is it moved???

Dave, it's possible where every you originally posted wasn't in the "best" forum and a moderator moved it for a better fit. You can click on the link at the original post and it will automatically direct you to the place it was moved to... does this make sense?
