I nabbed three days off from work and high-tailed it to the mountains for a working vacation. I'd promised my literary agent that I'd deliver my new novel this week. So I parked my
Casita beside a mountain stream at Mortimer Campground. It's a Pisgah National Forest campground. No hookups, but a great campground! Very isolated. Don't forget anything, because if you do you're talking about a fifteen mile drive to find gas, groceries, etc. They do have flush toilets and hot showers. At $10 a night, it's a steal!
